MAULIN - GERDES CLASSIC

Today we held the sixth annual Maulin - Gerdes Classic. This is our inter-squad match to help prepare for the upcoming competitive season. Coach Gerdes' teams have won this event for the past 6 years....but not today!! Team Maulin made a strong showing and snapped that winning streak. Congratulations Team Maulin for a job well done!! All of our players gave a great effort and we could tell...are ready for SPRING BREAK!! Have a fun one!!!!...and PRACTICE!!! : ) Also, a hearty congratulations goes to Zach for his "Closest-to-the-Hole" shot and Scott for his "Longest Drive shot"..... and thanks to Oakville Burger King for supplying the covetted Champion Crowns..looking good guys!!! HAPPY SPRING BREAK EVERYBODY!!!!

perfect day for our four-man scramble...in a close match...Ryan, Cam,Ben and Drew prevailed shooting 6-under par for nine holes...great job guys....

Tiger Trophy

Congratulations to Kyler and Drew for their steller play today and capturing the Tiger Trophy. We played a 2-man team Ryder Cup format intersquad match today and Kyler and Drew took home the goods...( golf towels and Girl Scout cookies..those that they could salvage from their teammates!!). Go Tigers!!!!

WEEK ONE

well...dispite the gale force winds and plummeting tempertures on friday...we all survived the first week of try-outs. i think that was the first time i have ever had to call for a bus to come get us early....but it was necessary today...even though Coach G wanted to tough it out!!! that bus driver saved our lives for sure....we had to let some folks go this week...it's always the worst thing to do..but we can only keep so many players...i wanted to thank everyone for a great week and we will finalize on monday...unless there is a blizzard..and in that case...Coach G is in charge..augh!!!
